I've been working my butt off lately!!!!
Last week, it was because I was trying to get the house back into decent shape, so that future cleaning chores will be more maintainance than, well, the back-breaking tasks they were last week.
This week, it's Spring Break, and while the work around the house is easier, I'm working hours a day as a pet sitter, with at least one semi-difficult job. (None of my jobs are every really hard, but occasionally they can be a bit taxing physically. This is a rare week when I have had more than one physically demanding job at a time.)
Fortunately, I've literally been working my butt off -- while baby is growing at a slightly-faster-than-average rate (big baby, oh boy), I've actually, er, shrunk out of my maternity jeans a bit. No harm to baby though! How can she not be getting everything she needs, when I eat 1. Constantly 2. A zillion veggies, including green leafies 3. Quite a varied diet, including freshly homemade (mostly veggie) juices and smoothies daily. I haven't really had any pangs or pains from malnutrition so far (they can happen when the baby takes what it needs from your own body -- some types of leg cramps, etc. are indicative of this.)
I actually had to schedule in this time to get online and get caught up a bit. My email was getting out of control! It's still a big mess, but manageable. Now, my schedule says I need to get offline, buy groceries, and get back to walking dogs...
Baby Kicks Update
She's kicking very regularly now! Every few hours I feel her at least once, and several times a day she makes a real effort to kick the hell out of me. Yesterday was a real milestone -- She was kicking last night, HARD, and the E.P. and I actually saw her make my belly move. It won't be long 'til we start to see feet and hands sticking out occasionally. =D
OOF! She's just started kicking really hard, right now as I type this. Yay happy!
