First Ever Real Business Trip

Hurray, I'm home!

That was a whirlwind of a week. It was my first ever business trip out of town, overnight -- well, actually that's not true, if you count Vector (Cutco) but that was like college or something.

Anyway, it was 5 packed days and 4 blessed nights in Midtown Manhattan. The daytime hours were filled with aisle after aisle, floor after floor of products, products, products - miles and miles of walking up and down, pausing to eat, use the bathroom, and rest our legs. Exhausting!!!

The evenings were packed as well - with a damn good time. Among the sites and experiences I took in:

  • Almost got killed during a crazy cab drive - but honestly, the pedestrian came closer to death....
  • Took in a show - _A Chorus Line_ at the Schoenfeld Theatre
  • A late night meal at Applejack Diner
  • A ride on the city Night Tour, with spectacular views! I was in Little Italy for 5 seconds! Lol
  • We took in the Rainbow Room... And ended up walking out (funny story...)
  • Enjoyed the Top of the View, a rotating restaurant on the 48th floor of the Marquis, along with their awesome buffet! Whoa, the food was great, the View gorgeous!
I know there was other stuff too, but it's such a whirlwind. Long and short of it is - I had a great time, but I could sleep for the next 5 days! Lol

Hee! Sounds like a great trip! Welcome home. :) Looking forward to hearing about walking out of the Rainbow Room. I got to go to a wedding there that was pretty spectacular.
