Breath in.... breath out..... Ahhhh....... I can breath again!!!
Well, I can absorb oxygen again. By yesterday mid-morning it was apparent that my lungs have adjusted. I walked and walked and walked much of the day yesterday, and while my legs felt it, I didn't have to "suck it in" once!
Allergic to a Town My lungs do feel it a bit however in another way -- allergies. Once I had a touch of asthma, but Benadryl scared it off. It does appear that I'm adversely affected by the air quality here, however. I'm taking a LOT of Benadryl (safely, per Doctor's guidelines) and it's not even remotely making me sleepy. It is, however, helping me to sleep through my 3AM pregnancy insomnia! Very nice, I missed having a "full nights sleep" (broken up by multiple trips to the bathroom.) As long as I'm not lying there for hours on end, bored to death...
Warning: Pregnant Lady Shopping So yesterday, went to a family-run vegan Indian buffet, got a mani-pedi, and shopped 'til I dropped at the most awesome Macy*s I've ever visited. I wanted to take advantage of PA's no-tax-on-clothing, and boy did I, scoring a cardigan, hoodie, two shirts, and a sleep bra. Everything but the bra was on Massive Sale. I'm now ready for spring, and for working with the animals this summer in clothes that fit, look good, and are dog-hardy. =D
I still need some shoes though....
