Doc's Appt Update

Here's a quick post to let ya'll know that my doctor's appointment yesterday went fine.

I saw a different Doc this time -- and there's as much chance that he'll be my attending Obstetrician at the birth as my regular doctor! I have no control over who will show up, there's a huge rotation of docs with our HMO. He was nice and very matter-of-fact/professional, as are most male OB/GYNs I've met in the physicians' offices of my life. I am always just as pragmatic with them.

He said the baby seems fine. I, however, must put my feet up as much as possible, try to stay out of the heat, and push fluids. His instructions also included limiting salt intake; a common pregnancy precaution. But one not easily kept when one is starved and there is little in the house but salty chips. Oh well -- I bought them the day before my appointment, before I'd been told better.
